애플 주가가 트럼프 행정부의 관세 정책 영향으로 1조 원 이상의 추가 비용이 발생할 수 있다는 우려에 3% 이상 하락 마감했습니다.

현지시간 2일 뉴욕 증시에서 애플 주가는 전날보다 3.74% 내린 205.35달러에 거래를 마쳤습니다.

이날 주가는 3% 넘게 하락 출발한 뒤 한때 5% 넘게 떨어지는 등 약세를 지속하다 마감했습니다.

애플 시가총액은 3조 840억 달러로 줄어들며 이날 주가가 2.32% 오른 마이크로소프트에 장중 시총 1위 자리를 내줬습니다.

애플 주가 약세는 트럼프 행정부의 관세 정책으로 추가 비용이 발생할 수 있다는 우려가 반영된 것으로 풀이됩니다.

전날 애플은 지난 1∼3월 실적을 발표하고 매출 953억 6천만 달러,주당 순이익 1.65달러를 기록했다고 밝혔습니다.

매출과 주당 순이익 모두 월가 평균 예상치를 웃돌았습니다.

팀 쿡 애플 최고경영자는 그러나 관세 영향과 관련해 "새로운 관세나 기타 주요 변경 사항이 발생하지 않는다고 가정할 때 관세로 인해 이번 분기에 9억 달러의 비용이 추가될 것으로 예상한다"고 언급했습니다.
