김천시,전기차 전환 통합 안전 기술개발 및 튜닝검사 실증사업 최종 선정

김천시(시장 배낙호)는 11일,올해 국토교통부가 주관하는 '내연기관차–전기차 전환 안전성 검증 기술개발 및 튜닝 승인 실증 사업'에 최종 선정되어,'EV 컨버전' 차량의 안전성과 신뢰성을 확보하기 위한 본격적인 연구개발에 착수한다고 밝혔다.

'EV 컨버전'이란 자동차를 움직이는 동력을 엔진에서 전기모터와 배터리로 교체하는 방식을 말한다.올드카 문화가 뿌리를 내린 유럽이나 미국에서는 '내연기관 차'의 낭만을 간직하려는 수요가 늘어나면서 내연기관차를 전기차로 개조하는 산업이 자리를 잡아가고 있다.

김천시는 이번 사업 선정을 통해 기존 내연기관차 중심이었던 튜닝산업을 전기차 중심의 미래차 산업으로 전환하는 계기를 마련했다고 자평했다.

앞선 지난 2023년 김천시는 한국교통안전공단과 함께 튜닝안전기술원을 준공한 이후,친구끼리 맞고자동차 튜닝을 전략산업으로 설정하고 기반 확대에 힘써왔다,

이번 사업은 2025년부터 2028년까지 국·도비 포함해 모두 245억원의 사업비를 투입해 ▷전기차 튜닝 안전센터 구축 ▷안전성 확보를 위한 검사 장비 개발 ▷평가 기준 정립 ▷시범 검사체계 구축 등을 추진하게 된다.

특히,이번에 구축되는 검사체계는 향후 국가 차원의 전기차 튜닝 인증 제도 개선을 위한 핵심 기반 자료로 활용될 예정이며,치무식 토토김천시는 본 사업을 통해 관련 기업 유치를 도모하고,골드문 카지노지역대학 및 기관과 연계한 전문 인력 양성 체계를 함께 구축해 나갈 계획이다.
