여중생이 동급생 뺨을 때리는 영상이 사회관계망서비스(SNS)에 올라와 경찰이 수사에 나섰습니다.

인천 연수경찰서에 따르면 2일 "학교폭력 영상이 SNS에 올라왔다"는 신고가 경찰에 접수됐습니다.

인스타그램에는 '인천 송도 11년생 학폭 영상'이라는 제목의 1분 39초짜리 동영상이 올라왔습니다.

해당 영상에는 가해 여중생인 A 양이 아파트 외부 주차장으로 추정되는 곳에서 손으로 동급생인 B 양의 뺨을 7대 때리는 장면이 찍혀 있습니다.

B 양은 "미안해.그만해 달라"며 폭행을 멈춰달라고 애원했으나,워크3 포커디펜스A 양은 멈추지 않고 심한 욕설을 하며 양손으로 뺨을 때렸습니다.

A 양이 B 양을 폭행하는 동안 함께 있던 학생들은 이를 말리지 않고 웃거나 영상을 촬영했습니다.

이 영상은 지난해 11월 촬영된 것으로 파악됐으며,대한민국 지도 룰렛영상 댓글에는 A 양의 이름과 연락처 등이 공개되기도 했습니다.

논란이 확산하자 A 양이라고 밝힌 작성자는 인스타그램 게시글을 통해 "작년에 어린 생각으로 했고 지금까지도 많이 반성하고 있다"며 "피해 학생이 용서는 해줬지만 (저의 행동으로) 씻을 수 없는 상처를 받았을 거라고 생각한다"고 밝혔습니다.

이어 "화가 나셨을 분과 힘들어했을 피해 학생에게도 정말 죄송하고 미안하다"며 "얌전히 벌 받고 정신 차리고 살 수 있게 도와달라"고 덧붙였습니다.

경찰은 SNS 영상과 신고 내용을 토대로 구체적인 사건 경위를 조사 중입니다.

경찰 관계자는 "가해 학생과 피해 학생 신원을 파악하고 있다"며 "절차에 맞게 엄정하게 수사할 예정"이라고 말했습니다.
