베네치아(베니스)비엔날레 제19회 국제건축전 한국관 전시가 현지시간 10일 이탈리아 베네치아에서 개막한다.

올해 건축전 한국관 전시는 건축큐레이터 정다영,스타 포커 디펜스김희정,정성규로 구성된 씨에이씨(CAC)가 예술감독을 맡아 '두껍아 두껍아: 집의 시간'이란 주제로 기획했다.건축가 김현종(아뜰리에케이에이치제이),박희찬(스튜디오히치),양예나(플라스티크판타스티크),이다미(플로라앤파우나)가 참여해 그동안 드러나지 않았던 한국관의 건축적 조건과 공간적 특성을 조명한 작업을 각각 선보인다.

베네치아에서는 올해 건립 30주년을 맞는 한국관의 역사적 의의와 미래 비전을 논의하는 건축포럼도 열린다.한국관 공동설계자 중 한 명인 프랑코 만쿠조,링크모음 사이트2014년과 2002년 베네치아비엔날레 건축전 한국관 커미셔너를 각각 맡았던 조민석,김종성 건축가 등이 발제자로 참여해 한국관 공간의 의미를 살피고 가능성을 모색한다.

한국관 30주년을 기념해 그동안의 역사를 개괄하는 아카이브 북 '베니스비엔날레 국제건축전 한국관 1996-2025'도 발간됐다.역대 건축전 커미셔너와 예술감독의 전시 서문,전시 개요,도박 국어사전강석원,김종성,톰 카지노승효상 건축가 등과의 인터뷰가 수록됐다.

올해 베네치아비엔날레 국제건축전은 이탈리아 건축가 카를로 라티가 총감독을 맡아 '지성적·자연적·인공적·집단적'(Intelligens.Natural.Artificial.Collective.)을 주제로 11월 23일까지 열린다.본전시에는 한국 출신으로 아이브이에이에이아이유(IVAAIU),프라우드(PRAUD),행림건축이 참여한다.
