오동운 공수처장은 통신내역 확보를 수사 성패를 가를 핵심으로 봤습니다.

지난해 7월 채 상병이 순직한 뒤부터 1년 간만 통신 내역이 남아있기 때문입니다.

공수처는 4차례 영장을 청구한 끝에 윤석열 대통령의 통신내역을 확보했습니다.

그런데 JTBC 취재 결과 전·현직 대통령실 관계자 10여 명의 통신내역도 함께 확보한 것으로 파악됐습니다.

공수처가 통신내역을 확보한 전체 인원의 3분의 1 수준으로 많습니다.

채 상병의 사건 기록을 회수할 무렵이나 사건을 재검토한 시점에 국방부 등과 연락을 주고받은 인물들입니다.

이시원 전 공직기강비서관은 유재은 국방부 법무관리관과 여러 차례 통화했습니다.

또 임기훈 전 국방비서관은 이종섭 전 장관의 보좌관과 통화한 것으로 나타났습니다.

공수처는 윤 대통령이 이 전 장관과 신범철 전 국방부 차관 외에 다른 인물들과 통화했는지도 분석하고 있습니다.

수사외압 의혹은 물론 임성근 전 사단장의 구명 의혹까지 확인하겠다는 겁니다.

다른 외부 인사와의 통화 내역이 있다면 구명 로비 의혹을 푸는 연결고리가 될 수도 있습니다.

공수처는 분석을 마치는대로 주춤했던 관련자 소환 조사에 나설 계획입니다.
