김 전 소장은 과거 총선과 지방선거 당시 홍 전 시장 여론조사를 여러 차례 진행한 것으로 알려졌습니다.

경찰은 김 전 소장을 상대로 홍 전 시장 여론조사 착수 경위 등 정치브로커 명씨와 홍 전 시장과 측근들의 여론조사비 대납 의혹에 대한 사실 관계를 조사하고 있습니다.

홍 전 시장은 2021년 국민의힘 대선 경선과 2022년 지방선거 당시 명씨에게 여론조사를 의뢰하고,윤성환 도박아들 친구 최모 씨 등을 통해 비용을 대신 지불했다는 의혹을 받고 있습니다.
