STEM 교육 프로그램 발대식

(서울=연합뉴스) 홍규빈 기자 = 지엠한마음재단코리아는 이달부터 연말까지 인천 지역 고등학생을 대상으로 과학·기술·공학·수학(STEM) 교육 프로그램을 운영한다고 8일 밝혔다.

GM이 전 세계적으로 추진하는 STEM 교육 프로그램의 하나로 인천 사회복지공동모금회,도박 재발 디시세이브더칠드런 경인지역본부와 함께 진행된다.

인천 지역 고등학생 약 70명이 참여하고 대학생 멘토 15명,한국GM 임직원 10명,온라인 바카라 게임 슬롯보증각 학교 동아리 담당 교사 15명이 함께한다.

참여 학생들은 글로컬 문제 해결 모델을 기반으로 지역사회 문제를 발굴하고 그에 대한 해결 방안과 결과물을 개발해 시연할 예정이다.

인천테크노파크와 한국GM을 견학하고 국제기구나 시의회에서 프로젝트 성과를 발표할 기회도 주어진다.

윤명옥 지엠한마음재단 사무총장은 지난 7일 열린 발대식에서 "학생들이 디지털 기술을 직접 경험하고 다양한 문제를 스스로 파악해 해결하는 역량을 쌓을 수 있어 뜻깊다"며 "지역사회는 물론 글로벌 문제 해결에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다"고 말했다.
