가전제품 설치를 위해 방문한 가정에서 금품에 손을 댄 보조 설치 기사가 벌금형을 선고받았다.

춘천지법 형사3단독 박동욱 판사는 절도 혐의로 기소된 A(31)씨에게 벌금 500만 원을 선고했다고 10일 밝혔다.

가전제품 물류센터에서 보조 설치 기사로 일했던 A씨는 지난해 11월 고객 B씨 집에 세탁기를 설치하러 갔다가 B씨의 차 키,카드지갑,러시아 룰렛 뜻신분증 등이 들어있는 가방을 폐세탁기에 넣어 훔친 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다.

같은 날 TV를 설치하러 간 또 다른 고객 C씨 집에서도 C씨가 설명을 듣는 틈을 타 현금 37만 원을 훔친 혐의도 더해졌다.

박 판사는 양형 이유에 대해 “가전제품 보조 설치 기사의 지위에서 범행을 저질러 죄질이 매우 좋지 않고,홀짝 도박소년 때부터 여러 차례 형사처벌을 받은 전력이 있는 점과 절취액이 크지 않은 편이고 피해품이 회수된 점 등을 종합했다”고 설명했다.
