국가·민간 발주 철도건설공사 현장‘안전관리 실태 점검’

[헤럴드경제=박준환 기자]경기도가 5월 12일부터 21일까지 도내 국가·민간 발주 철도건설공사 현장 5곳을 대상으로‘안전관리 실태 점검’을 시행한다.

점검 대상은 ▷신안산선 복선전철 건설공사 ▷신분당선 광교호매실 복선전철 건설공사 ▷수원발 KTX 직결사업 ▷인덕원~동탄 복선전철 건설공사 ▷월곶~판교 복선전철 건설공사 현장으로 지하 터널구간 공사가 진행되는 현장을 중심으로 점검할 예정이다.

이번 점검은 경기도 철도건설기술자문위원을 포함해 경기도 철도정책과,시 철도부서,발주기관 사업별 책임자 등과 합동으로 추진된다.

구조물 시공상태,안전관리 체계,위험요소 관리 및 작업자 안전수칙 준수 여부를 집중적으로 점검해 철도건설 공사 현장 안전성을 높이고,위험요소를 사전에 발굴·개선 조치해 현장 내에 안전사고 발생을 사전에 예방하고자 하는데 목적을 두고 있다.

아울러,현장점검 후 조치가 필요한 사항은 즉각적인 개선조치를 요구하고,어린이 게임기 추천중대한 위험요소 발견 시 작업 중지 요청 등 강력한 대응도 병행할 방침이다.

고태호 경기도 철도정책과장은 “철도건설공사의 특성상 안전이 최우선이어야 한다.현장 근로자뿐 아니라 도민의 생명과 안전을 지키기 위해 지속적인 점검과 개선을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
