최 회장은 7일 서울 을지로 SK텔레콤 T타워에서 열리는 일일 브리핑에 참석해 해킹 사고에 대한 사과를 표명할 것으로 알려졌다.또한 책임지고 사태를 수습하겠다는 발언도 내놓을 것으로 전해졌다.
