(서울=연합뉴스) 이상서 기자 = 개인정보보호위원회는 전 분야로 확대 시행 중인 '마이데이터'(개인정보 전송요구권) 제도와 관련한 법령 해설과 유의사항 등이 담긴 안내서를 발간했다고 6일 밝혔다.

마이데이터는 자신의 개인정보를 보유한 기업·기관에 그 정보를 당사자가 원하는 다른 곳으로 옮기도록 요구할 수 있는 서비스다.

앞서 개인정보위는 지난 3월부터 의료와 통신 등을 시작으로 전 분야에 마이데이터 도입을 추진하고 있다.

안내서에는 정보주체가 자신의 개인정보를 원하는 곳으로 안전하게 전송할 수 있도록 하기 위한 관련 법령 해설과 구체적인 권리 행사 방법이 실렸다.

또 전송 시 유의 사항이나 대리인을 통한 본인 전송요구권 행사 여부 등 주요 궁금증을 질의응답 형식으로 정리했다.

안내서는 개인정보위 사이트나 개인정보 포털에서 내려받을 수 있다.
