현지시간 1일 뉴욕타임스(NYT)에 따르면 루비오 장관은 도널드 트럼프 행정부에서 모두 4개의 직함을 갖게 됐습니다.
트럼프 대통령은 이날 기밀 유출 논란으로 신임을 잃은 마이크 왈츠를 유엔대사로 지명하면서 루비오 장관에게 임시로 국가안보보좌관 직무까지 맡겼습닏.
국가안보보좌관과 국무장관을 동시에 맡은 사례는 1970년대 초반 헨리 키신저 이후 처음입니다.
여기에 루비오 장관은 트럼프 행정부가 '청산 대상'으로 지목한 대외 원조 전담 기구 국제개발처(USAID)의 처장 대행과 함께 미국 국립문서기록관리청(NARA) 임시 청장 역할도 수행하고 있습니다.
