정부가 2035년까지 감축할 국가온실가스감축목표 최종안을 확정해 오는 9월 유엔에 제출할 계획입니다.

대통령 직속 2050탄소중립녹색성장위원회는 오늘 정부서울청사에서 최상목 대통령 권한대행 주재로 열린 2기 전체회의에서 이 같은 내용을 포함한 안건을 의결했습니다.

정부는 지난해 3월부터 지난달까지 100여 차례 논의를 거쳐 도출한 온실가스 감축 시나리오를 바탕으로 정부안을 마련하고 있습니다.

정부안이 마련되면 산업계 등 각계 의견 수렴과 공론화 과정을 거친 뒤 위원회 심의를 통해 최종안이 확정될 예정입니다.

파리협정에 따라 모든 당사국은 5년마다 국가온실가스 감축 계획을 제출해야 합니다.
