KT,5G망에 양자암호통신 적용

SK텔레콤은 양자컴퓨팅 전문기업 아이온큐(IonQ)와 전략적 제휴를 맺고 AI와 양자산업에서 힘을 합치기로 했다고 27일 밝혔다.이번 협력으로 SK텔레콤은 AI 비서 서비스‘에이닷’과 AI 데이터센터,GPU 클라우드서비스(GPUaaS) 등의 AI 기술과 양자를 활용한 암호기술인‘양자키분배(QKD)‘양자내성암호(PQC)’등을 아이온큐 양자컴퓨팅 기술과 결합할 예정이다.QKD는 암호 키를 생성하고 공유하는 과정을 해커들이 볼 수 없게 차단하는 기술이며,PQC는 양자컴퓨터로도 풀 수 없도록 설계된 새로운 암호화 기술이다.양자컴퓨터를 AI에 활용할 경우 더 적은 전력을 사용하면서도 훨씬 빠르게 최적화된 기술과 서비스를 얻을 수 있다.

앞서 KT는 5세대(5G) 이동통신 유심망에‘하이브리드 양자암호통신 네트워크’를 국내 최초로 적용했다.5G 유심망은 유심 정보를 유심 제조사에서 통신사에 등록하거나,토토 꽁 포인트 제로 사이트휴대전화 가입 절차 등에서 사용자 인증을 위해 유심 정보를 전달하는 네트워크다.
