검찰은 명 씨를 상대로 윤석열 대통령 부부가 2022년 6·1 국회의원 보궐선거 당시 국민의힘 공천 과정에 개입했다는 의혹에 대해 집중 추궁할 계획입니다.

또 오세훈 서울시장의 후원자로 알려진 사업가 김한정 씨가 오 시장 여론조사 비용을 대납했다는 의혹 등 제기된 의혹 전반을 확인할 것으로 알려졌습니다.

오늘 조사는 서울중앙지검이 명 씨 사건을 창원지검에서 넘겨받은 뒤 나선 첫 조사입니다.
