29일 대한의사협회(의협)에 따르면 의료계 협의체인 '올바른 의료를 위한 특별위원회'(올특위)는 이날 2차 회의를 열고 다음 달 26일 전 직역의 의사가 참여하는 토론회를 열기로 했다.이날 올특위 회의에서는 공식적인 휴진 결의는 없었다.다만,코스모스 블록 체인토론회에 참가하려는 의사들은 휴가 등으로 휴진을 할 수밖에 없을 것으로 보인다.

앞서 전의비는 27일 총회를 열고 전국 의대 교수들이 내달 26일에 휴진하는 방안을 논의했고,코스모스 블록 체인올특위 2차 회의에서 최종 결정하기로 했다.

올특위는 이날 "지난 26일 열린 국회 보건복지위원회 청문회를 통해 의대 정원 증원과 필수의료 패키지가 의료계와의 사전 협의 없이 일방적으로 추진됐다는 게 만천하에 공개됐다"면서 "정부에서 추진하는 의대 정원 2000명 증원도 과학적 근거가 없이 졸속으로 진행됐음을 다시 확인했다"고도 주장했다.

이어 "올특위는 정부가 정책 실패를 인정하고 전공의와 의대생의 요구안을 수용하는 전향적인 태도 변화를 보일 것을 요구한다"고 덧붙였다.
