서울대 의대에 이어 연세대 의대 교수들도 27일부터 무기한 휴진을 선언했습니다.

전국의대 교수들도 오는 18일 의사협회의 집단 휴진에 동참할지 논의에 들어갑니다.

환자단체는 기자회견을 열고 이미 예고된 서울대 의대 교수들의 집단 휴진 철회를 강력히 요구했습니다.

오는 17일부터 서울의대 교수들에 이어,연세의대 교수들도 27일부터 무기한 휴진을 선언했습니다.

연세의대 교수 비상대책위원회는 정부가 현 의료 사태 해결을 위한 가시적 조치를 취할 때까지 무기한 휴진에 돌입하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

다만 응급·중증 환자에 대한 진료는 유지할 방침입니다.

가톨릭대,아프리카티비 야구 중계권고려대,아프리카티비 야구 중계권울산대,성균관대 등 여러 의대 교수 비대위들도 18일 의사협회 집단 휴진에 동참하기로 결정했습니다.

전국 40개 의대 교수 단체인 의대교수협의회 역시 오늘 온라인 회의를 열고 휴진 참여 여부를 결정할 예정입니다.

한국중증질환연합회는 기자회견에서 휴진이 확산되는 걸 우려하며 앞서 선언한 서울의대 교수들의 '무기한 집단 휴진' 철회를 강력히 요구했습니다.

[김성주/한국중증질환연합회 회장 : "환자 생명과 불법(행동한) 전공의 처벌 불가 요구 중 어느 것이 우선한 가치입니까?당연히 환자 생명입니다.의료현장으로 돌아와야 합니다."]

보건의료노조도 5천여 명이 참여하는 대규모 집회를 열고 의사들이 명분 없는 집단행동을 중단할 것을 요구했습니다.

병원 경영난이 악화되면서 무급휴가,희망퇴직 신청 등 병원 노동자들에게 피해가 집중되고 있다고 강조했습니다.

한편 전국 37개 대학 총장들은 의대생들이 의사 국가시험 응시와 관련해 불이익을 받지 않게 해달라는 건의문을 교육부에 제출했습니다.
