그런데 최근 이런 소포가 다시 등장해 시민들이 우려하고 있습니다.

조휴연 기자가 취재했습니다.

강원도 춘천의 한 주택,지난 주말 소포가 하나 배달됐습니다.

노란색 겉봉투에,스퀴즈 바카라발신지는 중국이었습니다.

주문한 적이 없는 물건이었습니다.

수신자는 물론 발신자 연락처도 없었습니다.

소포가 도착한 곳입니다.

단독주택 안쪽 마당입니다.

이 집 주인은 소포가 도착하고 나서도 도착했다는 알림을 받지 못했습니다.

소포를 받은 사람은 즉각 신고했습니다.

지난해 타이완 발로 전국에 천 개 넘게 뿌려진 이른바 '노란 소포 사건'이 떠올랐기 때문입니다.

행여나 정체 모를 소포 안에 독극물이나 마약이 든 건 아닌지 걱정부터 앞섰습니다.

['노란 소포' 수취인 : "이제 겁이 덜컥 난 거예요.혹시 마약이 들었으면 어떡하지?그러고 이제 아니면 뭐 그때 마약 뿐만 아니라 독극물 얘기도 나왔었고."]

지난해 군 당국과 함께 정밀 감식에 나섰던 경찰의 대응은,이번엔 달랐습니다.

내용을 보지 않은 채 소포 겉만 만져보고,스퀴즈 바카라반품하라고 한 겁니다.

노란 봉투 사건이 범죄 혐의점 없이 결론나자,일반적인 택배 오배송으로 처리한다는 게 경찰의 설명입니다.

[김성태/강원경찰청 112 관리팀장 : "테러 사건이 아니라는 것을 공식적으로 확인해서 발표한 바 있습니다.이후 경찰에서는 관련 지침에 따라서 반송 절차를 안내하였고."]

경찰은 주문하지 않은 물건이 해외에서 배송될 경우 신고해달라고 당부했지만,소포를 받은 사람은 여전히 내용도 확인하지 못한 채 불안에 떨고 있습니다.
