(여수=연합뉴스) 장덕종 기자 = 전남 여수에서 음주 운전 단속을 하던 경찰관들을 들이받고 도주한 40대 남성이 경찰에 붙잡혔다.

전남 여수경찰서는 음주운전을 하며 경찰관들을 다치게 한 혐의(특수공무집행방해치상)로 40대 A씨를 구속했다고 25일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난 22일 새벽 여수시 국동 도로에서 음주운전 신고를 받고 출동한 경찰관 4명을 잇달아 들이받고 3㎞ 정도를 도주한 혐의를 받고 있다.

A씨는 경찰관들이 음주 측정을 요구하자 불응하고 그대로 달아났다.

경찰관들이 차량을 이용해 길목을 막자 들이받은 뒤 10분가량 도주를 이어갔다.

이 과정에서 추격하던 경찰관 4명이 허리 등을 다쳤으며,봉담 굴밥이 중 1명은 입원 치료가 필요한 부상을 입었다.

경찰의 추적을 피해 달아나던 A씨는 상가를 들이받고 멈췄다.

경찰은 A씨를 현장에서 체포했으며,봉담 굴밥음주운전 경위 등을 조사하고 있다.
