[세종=뉴시스]이승주 기자 = 정부가 미국과 공급망 교란을 최소화하며 안보 위협에 함께 대응하기로 뜻을 모았다

산업통상자원부는 27일(현지시각) 워싱턴DC에서 안덕근 산업부 장관과 지나 러몬도 미 상무부 장관이 '제2차 한미 공급망·산업대화(SCCD)'를 했다고 밝혔다.이날 양국은 분과별 협력 성과를 점검하고 경제와 산업 협력을 심화하기 위한 논의를 했다.

SCCD는 지난 2022년 5월 조 바이든 미 대통령의 방한을 계기로 양국이 설치하기로 합의한 첨단산업·공급망 협력채널이다.지난해 4월 1차 회의가 열렸다.

양측은 민관 반도체 협력 포럼에서 최근 삼성전자와 SKC계열사 앱솔릭스와 체결한 비구속적 예비각서를 평가했다.이를 기반으로 양국의 공급망과 인력개발,2016년 6월 11일 야구 경기일정연구개발(R&D) 협력 성과를 강조했다.아울러 헬스케어 분야에서 혁신하고 공급망 협력에서도 긍정적으로 평가했다.

산업부에 따르면 양측은 첨단산업·공급망 회복력 분과에서 3D프린팅 등 100개가 넘는 양국 기업들이 투자 기회를 공유했다.양국은 수출통제 분과를 통해 공급망 교란을 최소화하며 안보 위협에 대응하기 위한 협력을 지속할 계획이다.

산업부 관계자는 "디지털 경제 분과에서는 표준 관련 협력과 AI기업 간 협력을 확대하기 위한 논의를 지속할 것"이라며 "경제성장 기회를 모색하기 위해 투자 유치와 글로벌 시장 접근을 확대하려는 제3국과 협력도 강화하기로 했다"고 전했다．
