SK AI Forum 2024 개최,경남신문 진주지사글로벌 인재들과 AI 비전 공유[이데일리 김현아 기자] SK텔레콤(017670)(대표이사 CEO 유영상)이 13일(현지 시간) 캘리포니아주 실리콘밸리에서‘SK AI Forum 2024’를 개최했다.

이번 포럼에는 유영상 CEO를 비롯한 주요 경영진들이 참석하여,현지 AI 분야의 우수 인재들과 함께 AI 성장 전략을 논의하고,우수 인재 확보를 위한 노력을 펼쳤다.

SK그룹은 2012년부터 AI,반도체,경남신문 진주지사에너지 분야에서 일하는 현지 우수 인재들을 초청해 그룹의 성장 전략과 비전을 공유하고 글로벌 기술 동향을 나누는‘SK Global Forum’을 진행해왔다.

올해는 SK텔레콤,경남신문 진주지사SK하이닉스,경남신문 진주지사SK이노베이션 3사가 각 분야별로 주관하며,SK텔레콤은 AI 분야를 담당해‘SK AI Forum 2024’를 개최하게 됐다.

행사에는 유영상 CEO를 비롯해 정석근 글로벌 AI 테크 사업부장(CAGO),경남신문 진주지사하민용 글로벌 솔루션 오피스 담당(CDO),양승현 글로벌 솔루션 테크 담당(CTO),유경상 Strategy&Development 담당(CSO) 등 경영진 10여 명이 참석했다.

유영상 CEO는 13일 기조연설을 통해 AI 인프라부터 B2B,개인화 서비스로 연결된 AI 밸류체인 리더십 확보 전략과 SK 그룹의 AI 성장 비전을 공유했다.

정석근 사업부장은 글로벌 텔코 AI 얼라이언스를 기반으로 한 개인형 AI 비서(PAA) 서비스를 소개하고,경남신문 진주지사하민용 CDO는 AI 데이터센터(AI DC) 사업 전략을 공유했다.이후 현지 우수 인재들과 최신 AI 기술과 업계 동향을 공유하는 세션이 진행됐다.

안정환 SK텔레콤 기업문화 담당은 “급격하게 변화하는 AI 업계에서 글로벌 선두 기업의 기술과 경험을 보유한 우수 인재와 교류하는 일은 매우 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 글로벌 핵심 인재들과 SK의 AI 성장 비전을 공유해 나가면서,미래 성장에 필요한 해외 우수 인재 확보를 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
