[앵커]

오늘 아침 경기도 화성시의 한 산업단지에 있는 잉크 공장에서 불이 났습니다.

이 공장은 최근 노동자 23명이 사망한 아리셀 공장 인근이었는데,gs 로또주변 근로자들은 불이 번지지 않을까 걱정이 앞섰습니다.

원동희 기자입니다.

[리포트]

공장 안쪽에서 시작된 불길이 창문을 뚫고 뿜어져 나옵니다.

더 거세진 불길은 건물 전체를 집어삼킵니다.

["신고 처리하고 있다는데 (119) 전화하니깐?환장하겠네."]

지붕이 내려앉았지만 불길은 계속 타오르고,시커먼 연기는 하늘을 뒤덮었습니다.

불이 난 곳은 경기도 화성시 전곡산업단지의 한 잉크 공장.

아침 7시에 시작된 불은 4시간 가까이 지나서야 완전히 꺼졌습니다.

[소방 관계자/음성변조 : "(잉크 자체가) 화학물질이니깐 일반 종이 타는 것보다는 영향을 미쳤다."]

제 뒤로보이는 곳이 불이 난 공장입니다.

불은 모두 꺼졌지만 화학물질이 타면서 나온 매캐한 연기가 공장 주변을 가득 채운 상황입니다.

이른 아침이라 근로자들이 많지 않았고 건물에 있던 3명은 무사히 대피했습니다.

인명피해가 없었는데도 산업단지 근로자들은 놀란 가슴을 쓸어내려야 했습니다.

불이 난 잉크공장과 23명이 숨진 아리셀 공장의 거리가 400여 미터에 불과했기 때문입니다.

[인근 공장 직원/음성변조 : "위험물질을 다루는 회사가 많다 보니까 옆 회사에서 크게 불나면 우리 회사도 피해가 올 수도."]

[B 공장 직원 : "저희가 이제 등유 탱크가 바로 옆에 있기 때문에 되게 불안했어요."]

화성시는 공장 화재 방지를 위해 산업 안전 전담 조직을 만들겠다고 밝혔습니다.
