(서울=연합뉴스) 오규진 기자 = 최대호 안양시장은 4일 더불어민주당의 새 지도부를 뽑는 8·18 전당대회에서 최고위원 경선에 출마하겠다고 밝혔다.

최 시장은 이날 국회 소통관 기자회견에서 "윤석열 정부는 56조원에 달하는 사상 초유의 세수 결손으로 지방정부를 위기에 빠뜨리고 자치분권에도 역행하고 있다"며 "폭정에 맞설 '지방정부 리더' 자격으로 최고위원에 도전한다"고 말했다.

그는 "지방정부가 살아야 재집권의 길이 빨라진다"면서 "정치도 서비스다.당원을 고객으로 모시고,7개의 무료 온라인 슬롯 머신'민주당부터 자치분권하라'는 명령을 받들겠다"고 강조했다.
