[부산=뉴시스]김민지 기자 = 부산지방기상청은 지난 25일 국제빌딩에서 부산시,부산연구원,APEC기후센터와 공동으로 '2024년 부산기후변화포럼'을 개최했다고 26일 밝혔다.

기상청에 따르면 지난해 전 지구 평균기온은 14.98도로 산업화 이래 가장 높았고,부산의 평균기온 또한 16도로 1904년 기상관측 이래 역대 1위를 기록했다.

부산의 최근 10년 평균기온은 24.5도로 과거 10년보다 2.1도 상승했으며,이는 전 지구 기온 상승률보다 2배가량 빠르게 나타난 것이다.

이번 포럼은 이러한 기후 위기에 대응하기 위한 적극 행정의 일환으로 마련됐다.

포럼은 '1.5도를 넘은 지역 사회의 기후 재난 대응'을 주제로 발표,패널 토론 등으로 진행됐다.

이날 서태건 부산기상청 기후서비스과장은 '부산 기후 변화 현황 및 기상·기후 정책'을,정휘철 한국환경연구원 국가기후위기적응센터장은 '국가 기후변화 적응 정책'을 이야기했다.

또 권정미 부산시 탄소중립정책과 기후변화대응팀장은 '부산시 기후변화 적응 정책'을 주제로 발표했다.

앞서 2021년 3월 부산기상청은 시,부산연구원,월드컵 첫골 주인공APEC기후센터 등과 함께 부산기후변화협의체를 결성,운영해 오고 있다.
