고려제약 약을 처방해주는 대가로 의사들에게 불법 리베이트를 준 혐의 때문입니다.

불법 리베이트를 받은 의료인은 2개월에서 최대 1년까지 자격정지를 받게 됩니다.

자격정지 기간 의료행위를 하거나 3차례 이상 자격정지를 받으면 면허가 취소될 수 있습니다.

경찰은 의협이 추진하고 있는 집단휴진에 대해 "보건당국과 협조해 현장 실사를 돕고 고발이 오면 수사를 시작할 것"이라고 밝혔습니다.
