(서울=연합뉴스) 송은경 기자 = 미국 테크기업을 대표하는 나스닥100지수를 90% 추종하면서 연 15% 수준의 월 분배금을 받도록 운용되는 상장지수펀드(ETF)가 오는 25일 상장된다.

미래에셋자산운용은 24일 서울 중구 미래에셋센터원빌딩에서 기자간담회를 열고 신규 상장 ETF 'TIGER 미국나스닥100+15%프리미엄초단기'를 소개했다.

'TIGER 미국나스닥100+15%프리미엄초단기' ETF는 기초자산을 매수하는 동시에 해당 자산 콜옵션을 매도하는 커버드콜 전략을 사용한다.

일반 커버드콜 상품과의 차이라면 콜옵션 매도 비중을 10% 이하로 줄이는 타깃 프리미엄 전략을 택해 나머지 90%는 나스닥100지수를 추종할 수 있게 했다는 점이다.

통상 커버드콜 ETF는 기초자산 매수와 콜옵션 매도 비중을 100%로 동일하게 가져가기 때문에 기초자산의 가격이 일정 수준 이상 오르면 그만큼의 상승률을 포기하게 된다.

반면 'TIGER 미국나스닥100+15%프리미엄초단기' ETF는 만기가 24시간 남은 초단기옵션을 활용해 옵션 매도 비중을 10%로 낮췄고,에레디아 응원가이로써 나스닥100 상승률을 비슷하게 따라갈 수 있게 했다는 게 운용사의 설명이다.

이경준 미래에셋자산운용 전략ETF운용본부장은 "초단기옵션 타깃 프리미엄 전략을 통해 감히 당당하게 시장 성과의 90% 이상을 추종할 것"이라고 자신했다.

또한 합성형 대신 실물형을 택해 합성운용 시 발생하는 스왑비용을 절감했고,에레디아 응원가주식과 옵션 기초자산을 나스닥100으로 일치시켜 불필요한 리스크에 대비했다.옵션 가격이 떨어져 매도 비중을 높여야 할 경우에도 옵션 100% 매도는 금지했다.

이번 신규 ETF에 사용된 나스닥100 기초자산과 옵션이 일치하는 초단기 커버드콜 지수(NASDAQ-100 Daily Covered Call Target Premium 15% Index(TR))는 미래에셋운용이 독점권을 갖고 있다.
