[서울=뉴시스] 박대로 기자 = 전기자동차 배터리 화재에 대한 공포가 확산되는 가운데 배터리 제조사 공개를 촉진하는 내용의 서울시 조례가 발의됐다.

서울시의회 서상열 의원(국민의힘·구로1)은 지난 12일 배터리제조사 정보가 공개된 전기차 구매자에게 서울시 보조금 지원 우선 혜택을 줄 수 있도록 하는 '서울특별시 환경친화적 자동차의 개발 및 보급 촉진에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안'을 대표 발의했다고 14일 밝혔다.

개정안에는 배터리 제조사가 공개된 환경친화적 자동차(전기차) 구매자·소유자를 우선 지원하는 내용이 포함됐다.

조례가 통과되면 보조금 지원 사업 우선 순위에 기존 장애인,블랙잭 확률 계산법기초생활수급자,소상공인,블랙잭 확률 계산법다자녀가족 등 외에 배터리 제조사 공개 전기차 구매자가 추가된다.

아울러 서울시,서울시 산하 공기업,블랙잭 확률 계산법출자·출연 기관이 공용 또는 업무 차량으로 전기차 등 환경친화적 자동차를 구매할 때는 배터리 제조사를 공개하는 자동차를 우선 구매하는 내용이 담겼다.

이 밖에 서 의원은 전기차 전용주차구역 내에 전용 소화기,블랙잭 확률 계산법방화벽,블랙잭 확률 계산법연기배출 덕트 등을 설치하도록 한 '서울시 전기자동차 전용주차구역의 화재 예방 및 안전시설 지원에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안'을 대표 발의했다.

이들 조례안은 서울시의회 8월 임시회에 회부된다.통과될 경우 이르면 다음 달 말 시행될 예정이다.

서 의원은 "최근 잇따른 전기자동차 화재에 시민들이 많이 불안해 하고 있다"며 "전기차의 핵심 부품인 배터리에 어느 제조사 제품이 장착됐는지는 구매자가 당연히 알아야 할 권리이므로 구매자에게 배터리 정보를 공개하는 제품을 공공이 우선 지원하도록 조례개정안을 마련했다"고 밝혔다．
