이에 대용량 메모리를 GPU 장치에 직접 연결하는 CXL-GPU 기술이 다양한 산업계에서 활발히 검토되고 있습니다.

CXL-GPU는 GPU에 메모리만 선택적으로 추가할 수 있어 시스템 구축 비용을 획기적으로 절감할 수 있습니다.

이 기술은 메모리 읽기·쓰기 성능 저하 문제를 해결해 기존 GPU 메모리 확장 기술보다 2.36배 빠르게 AI 서비스를 실행할 수 있습니다.

이번 연구는 반도체 스타트업 파네시아와 협업하여 진행되었으며,검은사막 스킬 슬롯7월 USENIX 연합 학회에서 발표될 예정입니다.
