[디지털데일리 옥송이 기자] 삼성전자의 '갤럭시 AI' 생태계가 한층 확장된다.AI 기능을 탑재한 차세대 폴더블폰인 갤럭시 Z플립6·폴드6가 올림픽을 앞둔 프랑스 파리에서 공개된다.

삼성전자는 26일 '갤럭시 언팩 2024' 초대장을 발송하고,내달 10일 오후 3시(한국시간 10일 오후10시) 프랑스 파리에서 갤럭시 신제품들을 공개한다고 발표했다.

초대장 영상에는 폴더블 폰의 모양을 본딴 듯한 V자 형체와 에펠탑 이미지,갤럭시 AI를 상징하는 별 모양이 차례로 등장한다.이번 언팩 행사 주제인 'Galaxy AI is Here(갤럭시 AI가 여기 있다)'에 따라 신형 갤럭시 기기에 AI 기능이 탑재될 것임을 의미하는 것으로 해석된다.

삼성전자는 "갤럭시 생태계로 확장돼 더욱 강력해진 갤럭시 AI가 펼쳐갈 무한한 가능성과 삼성전자의 혁신을 직접 만나보길 바란다"고 설명했다.

이번 언팩에서 공개될 것으로 예상되는 신제품은 폴더블폰 갤럭시Z플립6·폴드6를 비롯해 갤럭시링,갤럭시워치7,갤럭시 워치 울트라,탑소바 등번호갤럭시버즈3 등이다.

특히 갤럭시 Z6 시리즈는 갤럭시 AI가 탑재된 첫 폴더블인 동시에,탑소바 등번호삼성의 두 번째 AI폰으로 주목받는다.삼성전자는 올해 1월 갤럭시 S24 시리즈를 통해 실시간 통역,서클 투 서치 등을 제공하는 온디바이스 AI인 갤럭시 AI를 처음 공개한 바 있다.

이번 언팩에서는 한층 강화된 갤럭시 AI 서비스가 소개될 전망이다.예를 들어 비단 삼성 전화 앱 뿐 아니라,음성 통화 기능을 지원하는 다양한 써드파티 메시지 앱에서 갤럭시 AI 실시간 통역 기능을 사용할 수 있게 된다.또한,삼성전자는 폴더블 폼팩터에 최적화된 갤럭시 AI를 선보이겠다고 밝힌 바 있다.

이외에도 언팩에서는 삼성전자의 첫 웨어러블 폼팩터인 갤럭시링이 공개돼 이목을 끌 것으로 전망된다.
