중·고교 동아리가 주도…디지털 기반 문제해결 프로젝트

(서울=뉴스1) 양새롬 기자 = 과학기술정보통신부는 한국과학창의재단(KOFAC),중·고교 인공지능·소프트웨어(AI·SW) 동아리와 함께하는 'SW 동행 프로젝트' 사업에 착수한다고 14일 밝혔다.

이 사업은 2022년 교육과정 개정에 따라 2025년부터 초·중등 정보교육 시간이 기존보다 2배 확대되는 만큼 청소년의 디지털 기반 문제해결역량 강화를 위해 올해부터 시작됐다.

앞서 중·고교 AI·SW 동아리 약 4000명을 대상으로 참가자를 모집했으며,로또9단라이브지난달에는 우수한 AI·SW 교육 프로그램을 제공·운영할 5개 수행사도 선정했다.

본격적으로 청소년 동아리와 대학생 멘토가 함께하는 디지털 기반 자기 주도적 문제해결 프로젝트 등은 이달부터 12월까지 약 6개월간 진행된다.

송상훈 과기정통부 정보통신정책실장은 "과기정통부는 디지털 심화시대를 주도하는 핵심 인재를 키우기 위해 초·중등부터 청년에 이르기까지 디지털 인재 재능 사다리를 견고하게 구축하고,로또9단라이브지속적으로 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
