한림대의료원 수장인 윤대원(사진) 학교법인 일송학원 이사장이 25일 노환으로 별세했다.79세.
고인은 1945년 윤덕선 학교법인 일송학원 설립자 장남으로 태어나 1969년 가톨릭대 의대를 졸업했다.1979년 미국 컬럼비아대에서 장기 이식 등을 연구하고,월드컵경기장역이듬해 귀국한 뒤 한림대 강남성심병원에서 외과 의사로 일했다.고인은 1987년 국내 최초로 췌장 이식수술에 성공했고,월드컵경기장역당뇨병 치료의 새로운 가능성을 제시했다.지난해 스웨덴 웁살라대에서 아시아 최초로‘린네 골드메달’을 받았다.
누구보다 화상환자 치료에 열성이었던 그는 2008년 한림화상재단을 설립하고,화상 흉터와 치료로 학교에 다닐 수 없는 소아 환자를 위해 화상병원학교도 운영했다.
유족으로는 장남 윤희성 학교법인일송학원 상임이사,월드컵경기장역차남 윤희태 도움박물관 관장,월드컵경기장역장녀 윤은주 한림국제대학원대학교 교수가 있다.빈소는 한림대성심병원 장례식장 VIP 1호실,월드컵경기장역발인 28일 오전 8시.
