[경기광주=뉴시스] 신정훈 기자 = 전 세계 관악인의 축제 'WASBE 세계관악컨퍼런스 광주'를 앞두고 공군 특수 비행팀 '블랙이글스'의 에어쇼가 펼쳐진다.

경기 광주시는 16일부터 20일까지 광주시 전역에서 열리는 'WASBE 세계관악컨퍼런스' 진행 계획을 발표했다.

12일 시에 따르면 사전 행사로 13일에는 특전사 고공낙하 퍼포먼스를 비롯해 광주대로 일원 및 시청 다목적광장에서 육군 군악대,해군 군악대·의장대,아프리카 솔랭 토토해병대 군악대·의장대,아프리카 솔랭 토토미8군 군악대와 전문 공연팀이 참여하는 거리 행진 퍼레이드가 펼쳐진다.

14일에는 오후 6시25분부터 7시까지 공군 특수 비행팀 블랙이글스의 에어쇼가 펼쳐진다.

국산 초음속 항공기 T-50B를 운용하고 있는 블랙이글스는 1953년 한국공군 최초 특수 비행 시범을 시작으로 현재까지 국내 주요 행사와 국제 에어쇼 무대에서 활약하고 있다.

고도의 팀워크를 바탕으로 대한민국 공군력을 선보이고 국산 항공기의 우수성을 홍보하고 있다.

블랙이글스는 2012 영국 리아트 에어쇼를 시작으로 영국 와딩턴 에어쇼 최우수상,지난해 호주 애벌론 에어쇼에서 종합 최우수상을 받는 등 세계에서 인정받고 있어 이번 사전 행사의 백미로 꼽히고 있다.

블랙이글스 에어쇼 이후에는 K-뮤직(MUSIC) 페스티벌이 시청 다목적광장에서 열린다.

시 관계자는 "아시아에서 네번째,국내에서 처음 개최되는 세계관악컨퍼런스 개막식에 앞서 화려한 사전 행사로 관람객들의 시선을 사로 잡을 것"이라며 "축제를 위해 군악대와 의장대,블랙이글스를 지원해 준 국방부에 감사드린다"고 말했다.
