앞서 본사 방침상 배터리 제조사를 공개할 수 없다고 고수해왔으나,현대차·기아에 이어 수입 브랜드인 BMW,폴스타,상암월드컵파크 12단지벤츠까지 공개에 나서면서 방향을 바꿔잡은 것으로 보인다.

14일 폭스바겐·아우디는 공식 홈페이지에 배터리 제조사를 공개했다.폭스바겐은 ID.4 1종,아우디는 최근 출시한 Q8 e-트론을 포함한 13종에 LG에너지솔루션 또는 삼성SDI의 배터리를 장착했다.

구체적으로는 LG에너지솔루션의 배터리를 장착한 차량은 폭스바겐의 ID.4,아우디 e-트론 50 콰트로,아우디 e-트론 55 콰트로,상암월드컵파크 12단지e-트론 스포트백 50 콰트로,상암월드컵파크 12단지e-트론 GT 콰트로,RS e-트론 GT 콰트로,Q4 e-트론 40 이다.

삼성 SDI의 배터리를 장착한 차량은 e-트론 S,e-트론 S 스포트백,e-트론 55 콰트로,e-크론 스포트백 55 콰트로,Q8 50 e-트론 콰트로,Q8 55 e-트론 콰트로,Q8 스포트백 55 e-트론 콰트로 등으로 공개됐다.
