경북도 재난안전대책본부에 따르면 이날 오전 5시 기준으로 상주·예천·안동·영양·영덕에 호우 경보가 내려졌으며 문경·청송·울진 등에 호우주의보가 발효됐다.도내 여러 시·군에는 현재도 강한 비가 내리고 있다.

앞서 이 도지사는 지난 주말 간 특별지시를 통해 마을순찰대 적극 가동과 함께 위기 징후 시 즉시 마을 주민을 통제·대피하도록 지시했다.또 지난해 극한호우로 피해를 입은 예천 등 주민들의 대피 여부 등도 재차 확인했다.

도는 비상단계 발령과 함께 마을순찰대를 적극 가동하고,산사태 예측정보에 따른 주민 대피조치를 진행했으며,산사태 위험 지역에서는 129세대 197명의 사전대피를 실시했다.

도는 앞으로 기상 상황을 실시간으로 모니터링하며,싹 쓰리 맞고추가 피해가 발생하지 않도록 대응을 강화하고,SMS,싹 쓰리 맞고자동음성통보 등을 통한 홍보 활동도 지속해서 할 예정이다.
