24일 투자은행(IB) 업계에 따르면 종근당홀딩스(신용등급 A+)는 2년 단일물로 총 300억원 모집에서 2360억원의 주문을 받았다.

종근당홀딩스는 희망 금리밴드로 A+ 등급민평 금리 대비 -30~+30bp(1bp=0.01%포인트)를 가산한 이자율을 제시해 -13bp에 모집 물량을 채웠다.

해당 금리 수준은 수요예측 실시 전 영업일 기준 종근당홀딩스 개별민평 대비 19.8bp 낮은 금리다.

업계 관계자에 따르면 종근당홀딩스의 수요예측을 앞두고 주요 자회사인 종근당의 등급 상승 소식이 전해지며 향후 종근당홀딩스의 등급 상승 기대감이 투자심리에 작용했다.

종근당은 종전까지 나이스신용평가로부터 A+(긍정적) 등급을 받고 있었지만 지난 20일 AA-(안정적)으로 상향 조정됐다.

이번 공모사채 발행은 NH투자증권이 단독으로 대표주관을 맡았으며 오는 7월 1일 발행 예정이다.

앞서 종근당홀딩스는 2021년 최초로 공모사채 발행에 나서며 500억원을 조달한 바 있다.

당시 발행한 제1회 공모사채는 오는 7월 2일 만기를 앞두고 있어 이번에 조달하는 자금 300억원은 전액 채무 상환에 활용된다.나머지 200억원은 회사 자체 보유 자금을 통해 상환할 예정이다.
