(서울=뉴스1) 조재현 기자 = KT(030200)가 온디바이스 기반 AIoT(지능형 사물인터넷) 전기차 충전 설루션(Edge EVDR·Event Video Data Recorder)을 기반으로 전기버스 충전 사업을 추진한다.이 설루션은 디바이스 내 AI가 사고 등 특이사항이 발생한 경우만 선별해 서버로 보내는 기술이다.

KT는 전기차 충전기 서비스 업체 이브이파킹서비스(EVPS)와 이 같은 내용의 업무협약을 체결했다고 28일 밝혔다.

Edge EVDR은 전기차 충전 스테이션 감시를 위한 AI 영상 관제 서비스다.충전기 사용 차량의 영상데이터를 분석,바르셀로나에서 마요르카완충 후 장시간 방치된 차량이나 커넥터 방치 여부를 감지한다.전기차에서 발생한 연기도 감지해 배터리 화재를 예방하는 등 전기차 충전 시설의 안전한 운영 및 자산 관리를 지원하는 게 특징이다.

설루션에 적용된 온디바이스 기반 AIoT 기술은 수집된 실시간 데이터를 서버에 저장하지 않고 AI로 처리 후 결과만 내보내 트래픽 과부하를 막는다.

KT와 EVPS는 AIoT 연계형 전기버스충전인프라 시장 확대를 위한 사업기회 발굴,바르셀로나에서 마요르카탄소중립 및 친환경 에너지 술루션 개발 등에 협력할 예정이다.
