(서울=연합뉴스) 김용래 기자 = 문화체육관광부는 서울 종로구 송현동에 들어서게 될 이건희 기증관(가칭)의 국내외 설계안을 12일부터 공모한다고 밝혔다.

이건희 기증관은 고(故) 이건희 삼성 회장 유족이 국가에 기증한 문화재 2만1천여 점과 미술 작품 1천488점을 체계적으로 관리하기 위한 시설이다.

문체부는 지난해 1월 서울시와 부지를 교환한 종로구 송현동(송현문화공원 내) 9천787㎡ 대지에 총사업비 1천78억 원을 투입해 연면적 2만5천696㎡,다낭 호치민 거리지하 2층,다낭 호치민 거리지상 3층 규모의 이건희 기증관 건립사업을 추진 중이다.

이건희 기증관은 다양한 역사 유물과 고미술품,근현대 미술품 등을 한 공간에 전시해 박물관과 미술관의 기능을 동시에 수행하는 새로운 체계의 전시시설을 목표로 하고 있으며,2028년 개관 예정이다.

문체부가 한국건축가협회와 함께 진행하는 공모에는 국내외 건축가 누구나 참여할 수 있다.단,외국 건축사 자격만 있는 사람은 국내 건축사와 공동으로 참여해야 한다.

12일부터 오는 26일 오후 5시까지 공식 누리집(http://tlkhmuseum.org)에서 공모 참가 등록을 받으며,다낭 호치민 거리등록자에 한해 오는 10월 10일 오후 5시까지 설계안을 접수한다.이후 문체부는 기술심사와 작품심사를 거쳐 10월 24일에 최종 당선작을 발표할 예정이다.
