[이코노미스트 이병희 기자] SK에코플랜트 신임 대표이사로 김형근 사장이 선임됐다.SK에코플랜트는 15일 서울 종로구 수송동 본사에서 임시주주총회를 열고 김형근 SK에코플랜트 신임 사장의 사내이사 선임의 건을 최종 의결했다고 같은 날 밝혔다.김형근 사장은 임시주주총회 직후 열린 이사회에서 대표이사로 선임됐다.

김형근 SK에코플랜트 신임 대표이사 사장은 1997년 SK이노베이션의 전신인 유공에 입사했다.2016년 SK주식회사 재무1실장을 역임했다.2020년에는 SK에어가스 대표,태경 이상형 월드컵2021년 SK주식회사 포트폴리오매니지먼트부문장,태경 이상형 월드컵2023년 SK E&S 재무부문장 등을 거쳤다.지난 5월 23일에는 SK에코플랜트 사장으로 내정됐다.

회사 측은 김형근 사장에 대해 SK그룹에서 전략 및 포트폴리오매니지먼트 역량과 재무 전문성을 두루 겸비한 CEO라고 설명했다.

김 사장은 이날 SK에코플랜트 구성원들에게 보내는 메시지를 통해 지속가능한 성장과 구성원들의 행복을 목표로 최선을 다하겠다고 밝혔다.SK그룹이 집중히는 AI시대 대응 및 환경 분야 투자 드라이브에 맞춘 인프라를 조성하고 반도체 유관 사업에서도 성과를 내겠다고 밝혔다.
