[부산=뉴시스]권태완 기자 = 지역 초기 신생기업에 대한 투자를 위해 부산시가 출자한 '부산 유니콘 스타트업 개인 투자조합'이 1일 결성된다.

이 펀드는 30억원 규모로 조성됐다.부산창조경제혁신센터가 운용한다.

부산시는 한국모태펀드 1차 정시 출자 사업의 '지역 창업 초기' 분야에 부산을 중점 투자 지역으로 설정한 지역 창업 기획자(AC)들에게 공모를 통해 출자 확약을 진행했다.부산창조경제혁신센터의 '부산 유니콘 스타트업 개인 투자조합'이 최종 선정됐다.

시는 이를 통해 지역 기업에 약정 총액의 50% 이상이 투자될 예정이라고 설명했다.

이 펀드는 결성 이후 지역 신생기업의 성장과 규모 확장을 목적으로 4년 동안 지역 창업 초기 기업과 원천기술(딥테크) 기업을 집중적으로 발굴해 지원한다.

김성조 부산시 금융창업정책관은 "이번에 조성되는 '부산 유니콘 스타트업 투자 조합'과 모펀드로 조성한 '부산 미래 성장 벤처펀드'는 부산 지역기업에 집중적으로 투자하기 위해 시가 출자했다"며 "이 펀드를 통해 지역의 우수 신생기업들이 규모 확장하는 기회가 될 것으로 기대한다"고 말했다.
