SUV 차량에서 시뻘건 불길과 검은 연기가 뿜어져 나옵니다.

소화기를 뿌려보지만 불길이 잡히지 않습니다.

[목격자 (음성변조)]
"'팡' 소리가 나면서 연기랑 막 사방으로 터지듯이 나가더라고요.화물차 두 대가 잠깐 서서 (운전기사가) 안에 소화기를 가지고 있으셨나봐요.그걸로도 진화가 안되고…"

오늘 낮 12시쯤 인천 연수구의 국도를 달리던 SUV 차량에서 불이 났습니다.

운전자가 차량을 갓길에 세운 뒤 대피하며 2차 사고 등 인명 피해는 발생하지 않았습니다.

소방당국은,"차량이 속도가 나지 않아 내렸고 엔진룸에서 불을 발견했다"는 운전자 진술을 토대로 정확한 화재 원인을 조사 중입니다.

비슷한 시각,경기 수원시 북수원 나들목 인근 고속도로를 달리던 SUV 차량에도 불이 났습니다.

"멀리서 연기가 보이고,소방차들이 달려왔는데요.옆에서 그냥 터질까봐 좀 걱정하면서 빨리 지나갔어요."

소방당국은 바퀴에서 불이 시작돼 엔진룸으로 번졌다는 운전자 진술을 토대로 화재 원인을 조사하고 있습니다.

오늘 새벽 3시 반쯤 인천 서구의 한 교차로에서는 직진 중이던 오토바이와 좌회전을 하던 11톤 화물차가 충돌했습니다.

이 사고로 20대 오토바이 운전자가 머리를 크게 다쳐 숨졌습니다.

경찰은 가해 차량을 파악하기 위해 현장 CCTV 영상을 토대로 신호 위반 여부 등을 조사하고 있습니다.
