HD현대삼호 HR·총무담당 박한규 상무는 “사내 ESG 경영 취지에 맞게 지역사회와 연대하게 돼 기쁘다”며 “전달된 구명조끼를 통해 해양 인명사고가 발생하지 않도록 활용되길 바란다”고 말했다.

한국해양구조협회 전남서부지부 조윤재 협회장은 “전달된 구명조끼를 활용해 대국민 해양 안전문화 확산에 힘쓰겠다”고 전했다.

해양경찰 관계자는 “구명조끼 전달을 통해 지역사회 연대 강화와 대국민 해양 안전 문화 확산에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
