메신저 라인 운영사인 라인야후가 네이버와의 네트워크 분리를 계획보다 앞당겨 2026년 3월까지 완료하기로 방침을 결정했다고 NHK가 보도했다.

27일 NHK는 관계자를 인용해 대규모 개인 정보 유출 문제로 3∼4월 일본 정부로부터 2차례 행정지도를 받은 라인야후는 이런 내용을 담은 재발 방지책을 마련한다고 전했다.

앞서 라인야후는 '인증 기반'이라고 불리는 네이버와 네트워크 분리를 일본 내와 해외 자회사에서 순차적으로 실시하는 한편,다이아몬드백스 대 레인저스모든 분리를 2026년 12월에 완료하기로 결정했다.하지만 일본 정부의 행정지도에 계획을 앞당겨 2026년 3월에 끝내기로 방침을 정한 것으로 전해졌다.

이데자와 다케시 라인야후 최고경영자(CEO)도 이달 18일 주주총회에서 "당사(라인야후)는 네이버 클라우드와 종업원용 시스템의 인증 기반 분리를 2024년도 중으로 완료하도록 추진하고 있다"고 밝혔다.

그러면서 "당사 자회사는 2026년도 중으로 (네이버와) 시스템 분리 완료를 예정했으나 한층 앞당길 수 있도록 계획을 책정할 것"이라고 했다.

라인야후 주식은 네이버와 소프트뱅크가 설립한 합작법인 A홀딩스가 약 65% 보유하고 있다.소프트뱅크와 네이버의 A홀딩스 지분율은 각각 50%다.

라인야후는 일본 총무성이 요구한 네이버와 자본 관계 재검토 문제에 대해 네이버와 협의한다는 방침을 재발 방지책에 담을 계획이다.라인야후는 총무성이 방지책을 제시하라고 요구한 시한인 다음 달 1일까지 이런 방안을 보고할 계획이다.

지난해 라인야후에서 개인 정보 51만여건이 유출될 수 있다는 가능성이 발표됐고 이후 일본 총무성은 지난 3~4월 2차례 행정지도를 통해 대응책 마련을 요구했다.그러면서 라인야후에 대한 자본 관계 재검토 요구도 해 논란이 발생했다.
