SK하이닉스는 PCB01에 '8채널 PCIe 5세대' 규격을 적용해 데이터 처리 속도를 높였다.채널은 SSD 내 낸드플래시와 컨트롤러 간 데이터 입출력(I/O) 통로의 개수를 의미한다.PCIe는 디지털 기기의 메인보드에서 사용하는 직렬 구조의 고속 입출력 인터페이스다.

PCB01의 연속 읽기와 쓰기 속도는 각각 초당 14GB(기가바이트),오토플러스 리본카12GB다.AI 학습·추론에 필요한 거대언어모델(LLM)을 1초 내 구동하는 수준의 속도다.전력 효율은 이전 세대 대비 30% 이상 개선했다.

SK하이닉스는 PCB01에 SLC(Single Level Cell) 캐싱 기술을 적용했다.낸드 저장 영역인 셀 일부를 처리 속도가 빠른 SLC로 동작하게 하는 기술이다.PC 사용자가 AI 서비스 외 일반 컴퓨팅 작업도 빠르게 할 수 있도록 도와준다.

이 제품에는 개인정보 보호를 위한 보안 기능도 탑재했다.보안 솔루션인 신뢰점(ROT,오토플러스 리본카Root Of Trust)을 PCB01에 내장해 외부 보안 공격과 정보 위변조를 방지하고 사용자 암호를 보호할 수 있다.신뢰점은 데이터 위변조를 방지하고 보안상 신뢰할 수 있는 하드웨어 영역을 의미한다.

SK하이닉스는 글로벌 PC 고객사와 제품 인증 작업을 진행 중이다.인증을 마무리하는 대로 연내 양산을 시작한다.512GB,1TB(테라바이트),오토플러스 리본카2TB 등 3가지 용량으로 출시한다.
