경기 이천의 한 골프장에서 60대 여성이 일행이 친 골프공에 머리를 맞고 숨져 경찰이 수사에 나섰다.

27일 경찰에 따르면 이천경찰서는 이날 오전 9시 15분쯤 모가면 소재 한 골프장에서 60대 여성 A씨가 날아온 골프공에 머리를 맞고 사망한 사건을 수사 중이다.

A씨는 함께 골프를 치러 온 50대 여성 B씨가 친 공에 맞아 쓰러진 뒤 병원으로 옮겨졌지만,프로야구 12회사고 발생 30분 만에 숨졌다.병원으로 이송될 당시 A씨는 심정지 상태였다.

사고 당시 A씨는 B씨가 두 번째 샷(세컨드 샷)을 칠 때 약 4m 앞에 있다가 공을 맞은 것으로 조사됐다.A씨는 B씨와 또다른 일행 한 명 등 셋이 골프를 치러 왔다가 사고를 당했다.목격자는 "B씨가 공을 치려고 하는데 A씨가 갑자기 앞으로 튀어 나갔다"고 진술했다.

경찰은 B씨와 골프장 운영 회사 관계자,프로야구 12회캐디 등을 조사해 정확한 경위를 파악할 예정이다.경찰 관계자는 "정확한 사망 원인을 확인하기 위해 부검을 의뢰할 계획이다.조사 뒤 입건 여부를 정할 것"이라고 말했다.
