3조7천억원 수주 '잭폿'…연간 목표 120.5% 달성
4년 연속 연간목표 조기 달성…'빅3' 중 가장 빨리 수주목표 채워

(서울=연합뉴스) 김보경 기자 = 국내 조선 '빅3' 중 하나인 HD한국조선해양이 15일 초대형 컨테이너선 12척을 3조원이 넘는 금액에 수주하는 '잭폿'을 터트렸다.

이로써 HD한국조선해양은 6개월여만에 올해 수주 목표를 조기 달성했다.

HD한국조선해양은 최근 유럽 선사와 1만5천500TEU(1TEU는 20피트 컨테이너 1개)급 컨테이너선 12척에 대한 건조계약을 체결했다고 이날 밝혔다.계약 규모는 총 3조6천832억원이다.

이번에 수주한 컨테이너선은 HD현대중공업과 HD현대삼호가 6척씩 건조해 2028년 6월까지 선주사에 인도한다.

선박에는 액화천연가스(LNG) 이중연료 추진 엔진을 비롯해 폐열회수장치 등 친환경 장비가 탑재된다.

HD한국조선해양은 이번 수주 건을 포함해 올해 현재까지 총 144척(해양설비 1기 포함),162억7천만달러를 수주해 연간 목표 135억달러의 120.5%를 달성했다.

이로써 회사는 지난 2021년부터 올해까지 4년 연속 연간 목표를 조기 달성했다.또 조선 빅3 중 가장 먼저 연간 수주 목표를 달성했다.

선종별로는 LNG 운반선 8척,석유화학제품 운반선(PC선) 60척,새로운 슬롯 - 무료 동전액화석유가스(LPG)·암모니아 운반선 40척,컨테이너선 12척,새로운 슬롯 - 무료 동전에탄 운반선 1척,새로운 슬롯 - 무료 동전액화이산화탄소 운반선 2척,초대형 원유운반선(VLCC) 6척,탱커 7척,새로운 슬롯 - 무료 동전자동차 운반선(PCTC) 2척,새로운 슬롯 - 무료 동전부유식 저장·재기화 설비(FSRU) 1척,해양설비 1기,특수선 4척을 수주했다.

최근 LNG 이중연료 추진 컨테이너선(1만5천TEU급 기준) 신조선가가 2억2천만달러를 웃도는 등 고공행진을 하고 있어 이번 컨테이너선 대량 수주는 HD한국조선해양의 수익성에도 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

HD한국조선해양 관계자는 "수주 목표는 달성했지만,고부가가치 선박을 선별 수주해 지속해서 수익성을 제고하겠다"고 말했다.
