대북 송금 등의 혐의로 기소된 김성태 전 쌍방울 그룹 회장에 대해 법원이 실형을 선고했습니다.

수원지법은 지난 2019년 경기도를 대신해 이재명 당시 경기도지사 방북비용 등 394만 달러를 북한에 보내고 이화영 전 경기도 평화부지사에게 뇌물 1억여 원을 건넨 혐의로 김 전 회장에게 징역 2년 6개월을 선고했습니다.

이 부지사에게 2억여 원의 불법 정치자금을 제공한 혐의에 대해서는 징역 1년에 집행유예 2년을 선고했습니다.

재판부는 증거를 인멸하거나 도주할 우려는 없다고 보고 법정 구속하진 않았습니다.
