전북 부안군서 규모 4.8 지진 발생…방통위 재난방송 모니터링 중

[과천=뉴시스]윤정민 심지혜 기자 = 12일 오전 전북 부안군에서 규모 4.8의 지진이 발생한 가운데 재난방송 정책 주관 부처인 방송통신위원회는 재난방송에 적극 임해달라고 사무처,크라이엔진 야구방송사 등에 요청했다.

김홍일 방통위원장은 이날 오전 정부과천청사에서 열린 제28차 전체회의에서 "지진 관련 재난방송을 즉시 시행했다"며 이같이 밝혔다.

이날 기상청에 따르면 오전 8시26분 전북 부안군 남남서쪽 4㎞ 지점에서 규모 4.8의 지진이 발생했다.

방통위는 국민에게 신속한 재난정보를 전달할 수 있도록 재난방송 종합상황실을 운영하고 있다.김 위원장은 "사무처에서는 피해 발생 대비 재난방송 대응을 위해 재난방송 종합상황실에서 모니터링을 실시하고 있다.방송사도 재난 발생시 적극적으로 대응해 달라"고 말했다.

이어 김 위원장은 이번 여름에 나타날 홍수·태풍 피해도 우려된다며 다른 재난 관련 방송에도 적극 대응해달라고 당부했다.
