전기 11시간 넘게 중단…물은 8시간 만에 공급 재개

(고양=연합뉴스) 김도윤 기자 = 경기 고양시 내 한 아파트에 물과 전기 공급이 끊겨 입주민들이 무더위에 불편을 겪고 있다.

29일 고양시에 따르면 지난 28일 오후 7시 20분께 주엽동 아파트 내 상수도관이 파손돼 지하 2층 변전실이 물에 잠겼다.

이 사고로 538가구에 물과 전기 공급이 끊겼고 승강기가 멈췄다.

고양시와 아파트 관리사무소는 배수 등 긴급 복구에 나섰으며 비상 발전기를 가동해 승강기를 운영했다.

물은 단수 8시간 만인 이날 오전 3시께 공급을 재개했다.

그러나 전기는 11시간 넘게 복구 중이다.

더위에 입주민들이 불편을 겪자 고양시는 아파트 입구에 물차를 배치하고 생수와 라면 등도 지원했다.

고양시 관계자는 "차단기 등이 고장 나 전기 설비를 교체 중이다"며 "정오께 전기 공급이 재개될 것으로 예상한다"고 밝혔다.
