올해는 다양한 이해관계자들의 요구와 기대 사항을 파악하기 위해 이중 중요성 평가체계를 고도화하고 포스코홀딩스의 핵심 ESG 이슈와 함께 ▲ 철강 ▲ 이차전지 소재 ▲ 인프라 ▲ 에너지 ▲ 무역 5대 사업 부문별 핵심 ESG 이슈 선정 결과를 처음 공개했다고 포스코홀딩스는 설명했다.

장인화 포스코그룹 회장은 CEO 메시지에서 "친환경 미래 사회 구현의 핵심인 이차전지 소재 분야로 사업 영역을 확장해 그룹의 가치와 지속가능성을 높이고 있다"며 "제철보국의 이념을 '미래를 여는 소재'로 승화하고,프로야구 경기장환경, 만족도 그리고 재관람의도와의 관계창업 세대의 도전 정신을 '초일류를 향한 혁신'으로 발전시켜 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
