13일 뉴스1에 따르면 이날 오전 8시45분쯤 광주 남구 방림동에 있는 20층 신축아파트 공사 현장에서 무게 100㎏의 크레인 연결고리가 주변 도로에 떨어졌다.

사고 모습이 담긴 인근 폐쇄회로(CC)TV 영상을 보면 달리는 승용차 앞으로 커다란 쇠 구조물이 떨어진다.승용차는 곧바로 브레이크를 밟아 사고를 피했다.

이 사고로 공사 현장 인근 버스정류장 앞 도로가 4~5㎝ 깊이로 파였고,기아 야구 라이브보행자인 여성 A씨(53)가 어깨에 파편을 맞아 병원으로 이송됐다.

주변에서 사고를 목격한 시민 2명은 과호흡 증상을 호소해 병원 치료를 받고 있다.

관할 지방자치단체인 남구는 크레인 연결고리가 떨어진 정확한 경위를 조사하고 있다.
